Twelfth Night.

This is one of Shakespeares most musical plays. Meaning, there are a lot to songs and sonnets in it. Some productions don’t use them but in this case the director wanted to have music written to all of them. Since the original music no more exists I was asked to write music in the style of what I could imagine it might have been. As reviews came out and no one mentioned the music, the director asked one of the journalists how this could be, he got the answer: Wasn’t it the original music?

Hearing this, I was very proud.
