UPCOMING
Paul Glaser has opened the 50th Anniversary Season of The English Theatre of Hamburg with a new production of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. Glaser first directed the play in 2017 and has now returned to Wilde’s story with an entirely new production created for the theatre’s anniversary season.
The production has been warmly received, with Hamburgtheater highlighting its humour, mounting suspense and intelligent social criticism.
Glaser is currently writing and composing The Emperor’s New Clothes – The Big Christmas Parade, his new pantomime for The English Theatre of Hamburg, premiering in November 2026.
